2nd Nine Weeks

October 29th - January 18th

During the Second Nine Weeks, the first test will cover practical applications of the derivative The second test will cover the concept of the definite and indefinite integral, the fundamental theorem of Calculus, basic integration rules including substitution, and numerical approximations of the definite integral. The third test will cover the natural logarithm function including derivatives and integrals and growth and decay problems. The fourth test will cover derivatives and integrals involving inverse trig functions, slope fields, and Euler's method. While we will start the concept of using integrals to find area of regions and volume of solids of rotations, the students will not be tested over this material until the 3rd nine weeks.

You can download the first part of the 2nd nine weeks homework calendar here and the second part of the 2nd nine weeks homework calendar here.. It will be in Adobe Acrobat format.
